South Shore Platform Queen Bed Now $150 (Was $258) @ Amazon.ca

bedsI'm a huge fan of platform beds. Why you ask? Simple, you don't need a box spring. No box springs, more money to spend on a comfy mattress! The South Shore Platform Bed picture above is now on sale on Amazon. Originally $257.99, this great bed is now only $150 PLUS free shipping! The best part? Your brand new South Shore Platform Bed will be shipped in just 3 to 5 days.

Platform beds are finally making the comeback that they deserve. You will no longer have to worry about the box spring getting old, dirty, or broken. The only downside of platform beds is the lack of storage beneath the frame, however, this format actually solves that problem for you! With drawers underneath the platform, you get to benefit from the storage aspect of a regular bed frame, while still ditching the box spring.

Another bonus with this bed? Never lose anything to the dark hole beneath your mattress again. In my house, the space between the bed frame and the floor is where everything that we don't really need seems to find a home. With this platform bed, you'll start realizing that if it belonged under the bed, it most likely belongs in the garbage.

Once again, shipping is free, and Amazon.ca will ship this bed frame to you within 3 to 5 days!

I wanted to snag this deal for my daughter's first big girl bed but only King sizes :(

Whoops! Looks like the King size is actually UNAVAILABLE and the odd size '0' must be the Full/Queen set?

There's a couple of other beds on sale Kayla, worth checking out. I thought this was the best deal but there was a chocolate brown one that was around the same price that was also very nice :)

We purchased this platform bed in September 2012 - relatively easy to put together. Love the under the bed storage. Perfect height to use with a pillowtop mattress. The only complaint I have is, without fail, I bang my shin off the sharp corners at least one a week. Even with a queen size mattress, there is an exposure of platform on the sides of the mattress. Hurts like a bugger!!!
