RECALL: Miss Vickie's Jalapeño Chips

Not the best news for a Monday Morning but we're here to let you know, our beloved Miss Vickie's® Chips have recalled their Jalapeño flavoured bags.

There has been a few recalls lately due to possible Salmonella contamination and unfortunately, Miss Vickie's® has joined the club.

Company-wide, the chips themselves haven't been affected; it's specifically the Jalapeño Seasoning that is the concern, due to the potential presence of Salmonella in the used with that flavour.

This Miss Vickie's® flavour was available in three bag sizes nationally in Canada to grocery, drug and mass retailers, food service and vending outlets.

Included in the recall:
• 40 gram bags of Miss Vickie's® Jalapeño flavour kettle cooked potato chips with "Guaranteed Fresh" dates of June 20 or earlier (UPC: 060410001769)
• 66 gram bags of Miss Vickie's® Jalapeño flavour kettle cooked potato chips with "Guaranteed Fresh" dates of June 6 or earlier (UPC: 060410017142)
• 220 gram bags of Miss Vickie's® Jalapeño flavour kettle cooked potato chips with "Guaranteed Fresh" dates of June 6 or earlier (UPC: 060410066386)
