Pricing Errors? Monitors from $8, Projectors From $23, TVs from $40 @ ComputerValley & DirectDial (EXPIRED)

error

There seems to be some funny stuff going on at DirectDial and ComputerValley, and we are assuming some pricing errors. Either way, we are seeing electronics for mindbogglingly low prices. These prices are really too good to be true, but we thought we would give you a chance to purchase them and see if you actually got your order.

Monitors:

You cannot get a better deal on a monitor than $8. The NEC Display AccuSync AS241W 24" LED LCD Monitor is just $8 (save $197) at DirectDigital. If this one sells out (or gets corrected), you can find the same NEC Display AccuSync AS241W 24" Monitor at ComputerValley for $10.99. It has a 16:9 aspect ration with a maximum 1920 x 1080 resolution. I could list off the entire specs but I am pretty sure you only care about the price as almost any specs on a monitor are worth that price.

Televisions:

Get a brand new, NEC Display E464 46" 1080p LED-LCD TVfor just $39.99. That is full HD and features edge-lit LED backlighting for reduced power consumption. The NEC Display V423-AVT 42" 1080p LED-LCD TV  is just $46.99 with LED backlighting and integrated temperature sensors and fans. A third TV deal for under $100 is the NEC Display V463-AVT 46" 1080p LED-LCD TVfor just $59.99.The TV includes built-in 10W speakers and an Open Pluggable Specification (OPS)-compliant expansion slot. I am not really sure anyone cares much about the stats at this point as all I would be thinking, and I am sure you are, is that I just mentioned three full HD TVs over 40" that are listed for under $60. Did your brain just freeze? There are a myriad of TV deals (errors) that you can find through this link here.

Projectors:

The same projector is on sale at both ComputerValley and DirectDial. At DirectDial, save $706 off this NEC Display LCD Projector - 720p - HDTV - 16:10. Purchase it for only $23 right now. This is the one thing I would consider trying my luck at as I would love to start watching movies on a projector. If this one sells out, just hop over to ComputerValley to pick up the same projector for $34.99.

As we mentioned above, we beleive this is a pricing error on NEC Display products that appears to be hitting a few stores. Buying any of these products is sort of like rolling the dice, who knows if they will fulfill your order or not! If you do place an order, let us know what happens!

ComputerValley's website says it is down for service - so they must have caught on. However, DirectDial is still up and running. Just bought 4 TV's from them. Purchase went through without a hitch, total for the 4 TV's including shipping and environmental surcharge was $340. I'm going to keep one and give the rest as Christmas gifts!

Tried to place an order with direct dial: after the order received confirmation email which says : "DirectDial.com makes every effort to bring the lowest prices possible to our clients however, due to conditions beyond our control, prices are subject to increase even after your order has been placed. If a price increase should occur during the processing of your order you will be notified of same and have the right to cancel your order at no charge to yourself. We apologize for any inconvenience this may create. " So, they reserve the right instead of cancellation of your order charging you full price as soon as they find out their mistake, and it will be your responsibility to cancel the order (it may take long time it will take to get a refund if they charge full price!!!) Not sure if it is good idea to order after all.

I wanted to get the tv and the monitor but it's not showing anymore. So I went ahead to check the projector. I checkout but when was reading the terms of sale..I got afraid cuz they might charge me after, like what mark had stated. I don't want to risk it. Good luck though :)

They cancelled my order :( It was too good to be true. Figured that would happen, but disappointing all the same.
