That is pretty awesome. Even if shipping is around $10 to $15 you are still saving a huge amount of money.

    I work in the games industry, and have used the Kinect on more than one occasion. I can say this much about the Kinect: the game you are playing better be well adapted in order to use Kinect, or else playing a game via the Kinect can be a terribly frustrating experience. The technology behind it is remarkable (the Kinect projects many invisible dots in its field of vision, and then judges your position based on the distance of these projected dots from the camera), however, the problem with this technology, as incredible as it may seem, is that the technology has for the most part been poorly implemented or adapted for games. I tend to like music games, including the Dance Dance Revolution games (so I'm not afraid to get active during gameplay), and I can honestly say that there has never been a Kinect-based game that has interested me in the least. Here's a tip: if ever you want to gauge how your gameplay experience will be if a Kinect title interests you, do not look at gameplay footage, rather, look at video of someone playing the game: this will reveal if the movements and actions you will be partaking in interest you in the least (hopefully it will also reveal how well movement is recognized in said game, as some games do this 'alright', and others 'not so much').
