It's never too early to start planning ahead for your next adventure, especially when you can save a little money along the way. And if you want to check a few national parks off your list over the next year, you should probably pick up your Discovery Pass ASAP. The new ones for 2020 are here, and they're $20 off right now!
If you're not already aware, you need some form of a Discovery Pass to enter certain parks across the country. Most people purchase a family or group pass (that can be used for up to seven people in the same vehicle), or you can opt for individual adult and senior passes if you plan to enter a park by bike or via the water.
Only those family passes are marked down, though – which is probably fine, since that's what you'd likely end up buying anyway. If you purchase yours before Dec. 31, 2019, it will only cost you $116.40! They're usually priced at $136.40 and grant you admission to more than 80 Parks Canada locations across the nation.
These passes are valid for 12 months exactly from the date of purchase, so you might as well get one soon so you can start enjoying all those parks Canada has to offer! If you purchase one online, standard shipping is an additional $4, but you'll also receive 20% off Parks Canada Shop merchandise until Feb. 29, 2020.
