The EA online store, more commonly known as "Origin," are having their spring sale! In this sale, they're offering loads of video games at half price.
The Origin Spring sale offers 50% off site-wide: plenty of opportunities for super video game bargains.
Now, even though these games will ship from the US, you've still got the potential to get some super bargains. I did a test order for Battlefield 3 for the Xbox 360 for only $29.99, and Canadian shipping was only $2.50. But I believe shipping is free if you spend $39 or more.
There are also some titles on PC digital download, so you don't have to worry about shipping on those at all. For example:
- SimCity 4 Deluxe Edition for $9.99
- Saints Row: The Third for $24.99 ($50 @ EB, BB)
- Mass Effect 2 for $9.99 (It's $20 @ FS, EB, BB)
- FIFA Soccer 12 for $14.99
My favourite game of last year was Portal 2, which you can get for $29.99 on Xbox 360 or PS3 (PC Version is not discounted!). I played this game co-op with my partner, and it was really great fun. We did have a few loud arguments during gameplay though, but it was all part of the fun!
