Once in a while, Newegg Canada surprises me with a really nice deal that beats out the competition by a landslide. Newegg currently has this Sonax K-505-MPM Black Tilting Wall Mount Kit on sale from $99 down to $53.83 with free shipping.
This mount will fit 32" to 65" flat panel TVs. The mount is low profile, keeping your TV a mere 25 mm from the wall.
However, this is more than just a mount, it is a mount kit. Thus the kit also comes with:
- a surge protector
- 10ft HDMI cable
- screen cleaner
The mount will hold up to 100 lbs which is ample weight for a TV. We have a 42" Sony Bravia that weighs in around 55 lbs.
I price compared this mount kit with Future Shop and they had the kit priced at $98.98. The sale price and free shipping deal from Newegg Canada certainly makes their deal far superior.
I really want a wall mount for our TV; however, we still rent and our landlord would not be very happy with us making that many holes in the wall. The space it would save on the floor would be fantastic. Also, I wouldn't be worried about the cat one day getting too exuberant and running into the TV stand.
