Mountain Equipment Co-op has a selection of women's shoes on sale from $60 to $65 retail price, marked down to just $15 per pair. There are three styles to choose from and many sizes still in stock.
The first shoes I found were the Freewaters Maggie Shoes. Originally $65, the shoes are on sale for $15 per pair. These are a medium-weight travel shoe with a flexible sole and an upper made of cotton canvas. The shoes are completely vegan and pack up nicely for transportation. The shoe laces are waxed, though I am not sure what that does. Maybe it keeps them from fraying? There are two colours to choose from and a few sizes in stock:
- Tan: 11
- Black: 7, 8, 9, 10
All sizes are noted as 'm' for medium width.
Next, we have the Cushe Lamu Shoes that were $60 and are now $15. These are a low-profile loafer perfect for summer days in the sun. The molded PU foot bed offers arch support and the upper canvas is breathable. They also have very colourful foot beds to brighten your day. I think these would look lovely with a breezy dress or a flowing skirt. The shoes just look like they are made for a vacation in the Bahamas! The Cushe Lamu comes in two colours and uses European sizing:
- Blue Multi: 37, 38, 39, 40, 41
- Sand: 38, 39, 40, 41
Lastly, the Cushe Vespadrille Shoes are my favourite. Originally $65, they are now on sale for $15. These shoes look like a hybrid between a sneaker and an espadrille. They have curved sides, laces, and an espadrille style heel while still having a sneaker style forward sole for grip. They also look super comfortable and come in funky prints. Wear them with jeans, shorts, or even a skirt. The following two colours and few sizes are available:
- Blue Multi: 37, 39, 40, 41
- Off White/Red: 40
On each pair of shoes, you are saving at least 75%, so I do not see how you can possibly go wrong with this deal. At only $15 per pair, pick up one for your next beach vacation. There are so many sizes still available that I think sizes 7 through 11 are completely covered between the three shoes.
