Head to your local Lowes store and register for a free build and grow clinic for your kids. There they can learn how to build wooden toys, and right now those toys are from Disney's Planes movie.
Disney has a Cars-type movie coming out in theatres called Planes. I know this will be the next huge hit, which my children will watch repeatedly for the next ten or so years. While the momentum is still calm, take them to build one of the planes from the movie at Lowes.
Suggested for children age five and older, your child can build Dust on August 10th or El Chupacabra on August 25th. Registration is limited, so you'll want to take advantage of this as soon as you can.
Not only will they get the toy they made, they'll get a certificate, name tag, apron and goggles to keep.
