Gilt.com: Free Shipping to Canada, No Minimums! (US)

Over on our forums, Bargainmooser Biddle dropped us a little post to let us know that they’d just placed an order on Gilt.com and managed to score totally free shipping! There are no specific terms and conditions and no minimum spend either. Great deal!

Shipping from Gilt.com usually costs at least $9.95 so it’s a good saving to start with. The top of the site says “Enjoy US$9.95 Shipping to Canada!” but when you proceed through checkout, the shipping costs is discounted to zero, as shown here:

As some of you know, Gilt.com is a US based site which we’ve mentioned here on Bargainmoose a few times as it’s very popular with Canadian shoppers. Our author Avigayil is a big fan. :) Gilt have flash sales on top designers, at up to 60% off retail prices, so they’re incredibly popular.  Prices on Gilt.com are shown including duty so you don’t need to worry about any hidden surprises at your door.

There are a ton of great deals on there just now, I could spend hours browsing the site! Some quick examples:

Early Access: Women’s shoes Up to 80% Off – prices here start at ~$36 but go up and up! I love these Bailey Lace-Back High Sandal but they’re $438. Eeek! They’re a bit out of my price-comfort zone.

7 for All Mankind sale – items here starting from only $49 such as this Speckled Pocket T-Shirt.

Llum: Up to 65% Off – baby and kids clothing and fashion! ZOMG I can barely even even look at this section, I would just spend a fortune. I’m thinking of this Peggy Dress ($36.46) for my daughter for Christmas Day.

There are some beautiful items in the 808 Home: Furniture, Bedding & Décor sale. The pieces are very simple, stylish and modern. I like this Curved Floor Lamp but it’s $564… it’s more likely that I can afford this Mr Fox mug for $12.57.

As this is a free shipping no minimum event, it probably makes the most sense for you to take advantage of it on the smaller lower value items, upon which you would have previously had to pay $9.95 shipping.
