LEGO just embarked on a really cool project. The company is committing to being more environmentally sustainable, and they're starting by making pieces out of plant-based materials – and you can try them for free!
It's called the Plants from Plants set, and it's the latest gift with purchase at LEGO Canada. All you need to do is spend at least $35, and LEGO will throw in the set for free.
If you're curious, the kit is No. 40320 and is valued at about $6.99 CAD. It's exclusive to the LEGO Shop website and stores, and you only have until Aug. 14 (or while supplies last) to claim one.
The LEGO Group also said they plan to try and use sustainable materials in all their packaging and "core products" by 2030, and this is their first step toward that goal.
And trust me, reaching that $35 minimum spend won't be hard – especially since they have new LEGO Harry Potter sets in stock! I'm heading for the Hogwarts Express. What about you?
