EthicalDeal: $20 for $40 Worth @ Teayama Canada

Tea addict here. Ethical deal has a toast-worthy deal for all you tea drinkers out there. Get a $40 voucher to Teayama Canada for just $20 at Ethical Deal. That is 50% off yummy tea that will keep you cozy warm and hydrated throughout the winter.

The voucher is currently valid so you can purchase and go shopping! For delivery by Christmas, you will want to place your order by December 12th. This voucher will expire at the end of 2014, so make sure you place your order before the New Year begins.

The voucher is valid only on tea. You cannot use it on accessories, which is just fine with me because I love tea and I already own two teapots, a couple tea balls, and plenty of other accessories. Tea is my consumable good - today I just started my second pot of the stuff.

Teayama offers free shipping on orders of $45 or more. If your order is lower than that, shipping is just a flat rate of $5. I checked out Teayama in search of delicious teas and found this truly scrumptious sounding Caramel Toffee Puerh for $8 (50g) or $14 (100g). This tea sounds heavenly indeed with roasted almond pieces and chunks of caramel mixed in with dark Puerh leaves. Puerh tea is quickly becoming one of my favourites because of it aids in digestion and is said to help with weight loss by speeding up your metabolism. Both reviews for this tea speak very highly of it:

This a great tea, full-bodied with a clean finish. It is not a subtle tea but it is very pleasant. The caramel tones are strong but not overwhealming. Highly recommended.

It sounds like my kind of tea; I like strong and very sweet teas. I also do not usually go for subtlety.

I do not own any white tea, but it is on my list of teas to try. White teas are the closest you can get to tea's original form, thus they are high in antioxidants. I would like to try White Tangerine starting at just $7 for 50g.

What teas would you like to try? I am very new to Teayama, so I would be interested to hear from anyone who has tried their teas before. Recommendations are appreciated! We have only blogged about Teayama once before, when they had a $15 off $30 deal.

(Expiry: 30th November 2014)
