You can use this item with the Ekobrew papers if you want to. This item is only compatible with the Keurig 1.0 Single Serve Brewing Machines. I have the Keurig 2.0 and I also have a piece that allows these type of items to be compatible even if they say they only work with the 1.0. Basically the piece I have covers the rim of the K-Cups and then my machine accepts them. I can't seem to find it online, though I did buy it in stores from ECS Coffee if you are interested.
Actually, if you read the Q&A on Amazon.ca then you may be able to get it to work with your Keurig 2.0 if you orient it with the hinge at the front so that the cup drops down into place. I have not personally tried that method though, so let me know if it works!
