Today I set out to buy my toddler a swimming pool. This wasn't an easy task before doing research - I'll tell ya. I had no idea what I was looking for, pros and cons, or even price comparisons. After hitting a few stores and doing some rapid Google searches on my cell phone, I found Walmart to be the best bet. Even the regular prices are better than the competitors' pricing, and prices start as low as $15.
Honestly, what better way for you and the kids to cool down? Pools are great. Walmart has everything from tiny splash pools - to permanent above ground pools. If you do buy a kiddie pool, be sure to check out this articleon how to clean it.
The Finding Dory 36-Inch Kiddie Pool is as cute as it is practical. For $15 you can fill this little pool with 25 gallons of water for your toddler, dogs or even to dip your feet into.
The next step up - the Intex 8 ft x 16 inch Snapset Pool. I have this pool on my back porch for the kiddo. He is three, and it comes up to about his waist which is perfect for him. On occasion my dogs jump in and out, and so far it has held up for year two! It is $34.96. Just don't let the kiddos lean on the edges, or splash goes all the water.
If you want a bit deeper, the Intex 8' x 30" East Set Poolis just $68 with loads of excellent reviews. It even comes with a filter! Just blow up the ring, and add water.
Shipping is free on orders over $50, but these offers are available in stores as well.
