How does a free movie sound? Cineplex Community Day is almost back, and that means you can spend a Saturday morning watching movies at absolutely no charge. This year, the big day falls on Saturday, Dec. 7, and there are five different featured films you can see – without needing any tickets.
On this day only, you can basically just walk in to a theatre near you, take a seat and enjoy the show! Doors open at 9 AM for all these films: A Christmas Story, Elf, Gremlins, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and The Polar Express. Yup, you can watch Christmas movies on the big screen for FREE this December!
If all that wasn't enough, they're also offering discounts on popcorn, drinks and candy – and it doesn't look like you even need to be a SCENE member to save. Proceeds from concessions will go toward the Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada, and a list of participating Cineplex theatres is available online.
