Going back to school soon? Then check out the Targus 14" A7 messenger back. Originally priced at $49.95, it's now 50% off at Chapters Indigo and can be yours for just $24.97.

The Targus bag is actually one of three bags to have been discounted at Chapters Indigo as part of their "50% off select laptop bags" sale but the other 2 are already completely sold out! It probably won't be much longer until the Targus bag sells out as well and though it's not as sleek-looking as the other two bags, it still looks very handy for anyone going back to school. It doesn't even need to solely be a schoolbag either as it looks like it could easily be used as a work bag as well.

The Targus messenger bag has a padded compartment for a laptop that is up to 14" and has a number of other compartments for quick organization of your items (check the picture).

What I really like about it is that it has a weather-resistant bottom and it looks like it would stand on its own. When I was in school, having a bag that would constantly fall over was one of my biggest pet peeves as it would get very dirty and make the contents of my bag get disorganized. It also has two front buckle closures to ensure that everything stays safely inside.

Although they wouldn't to Canada, I found the Targus bag on sale for $44.99 on Amazon.com. It's great to price compare that way and although there are no reviews on Chapters Indigo's site, 10 customers rated this bag 4/5 on Amazon.com! The only complaint has been that the bag is a little smaller than people expected, so keep that in mind when purchasing.

Shipping is only free on orders over $25, so you would actually be missing another $0.03 for free shipping. Situations like these aren't fun but the best thing would be to check the sale section, where there is currently up to 75% off home decor items, among a couple of other deals.
