Kids Weekend Activities All July @ Chapters

New games and crafts every Saturday and Sunday this month
Kids Weekend Activities All July @ Chapters

This summer, you can send your kids to camp – and not even pack them a bag. Camp Indigo Summer is starting up next week, which means you might finally be able to get your young ones off the couch.

Every Saturday and Sunday for the entire month of July, Chapters will host special events just for kids. They can make crafts, take part in scavenger hunts and even challenge their friends in a Beyblade tournament. So I don't know about you, but I'm thinking of signing my nieces and nephews up ASAP.

You still might have to wake up a little early to catch these events, since they start one hour before stores open. But let's face it. A weekend when your kids are home? There's no chance they're letting you sleep in anyway! Since all malls and box stores are different, you might want to check with the location nearest you to figure out exactly when Camp Indigo Kids activities begin. A full list of participating stores is online.

To take part, you have to be a Plum Rewards member, but it's completely free to join, and there's still time to sign up before the first event (where kids can take part in a scavenger hunt and build a Melissa & Doug keepsake box to hold all the treasures they find). It all happens on Saturday, July 6 – so mark that down.

Other Camp Indigo Kids activities include mess-free tie dye crafts on Saturday, July 13, a day full of Peppa Pig games on Saturday, July 20 and a Pokémon card swap on Sunday, July 28. All camp events are subject to minor participation fees (usually $10 plus taxes and service fees to cover the cost of materials).
