This is a special laptop because it converts from laptop to tablet form and is loaded with everything you need in a new computer including a fast 5th generation processor.
This deal is simply spectacular - the kind of deal that I want to buy. The ASUS Transformer Book Flip is a two-in-one PC. With attached keyboard, it functions as a fully-functional laptop. When you do not want the laptop part, flip the screen on top of the keyboard for a large tablet with a built-in touch screen. It will function just like your Microsoft tablet!
Now, specs are always super important to me. First, let us talk about the processor. This laptop comes with an Intel Core i5-5200U. The first number after the dash (-) tells you what generation processor the laptop has. This is a fifth generation. Though not quite the newest (there is a 6th gen), you want at least a 5th generation processor as it is 30% more efficient than previous models.
This laptop also has 4GB of RAM and a 500 GB hard drive. That might not sound as great as the 1TB hard drive, but very few people will ever go beyond 500 GB. My computer is like my life: I game on it, I work on it, and I store stuff on it. Even with oodles of games, over 10,000 high-resolution DSLR pictures, thousands of songs, tons of movies, and more... I am still under 500 GB of memory used on my current computer (but I am close). For an average family, this is oodles of space.
The RAM I find a bit small - I wish it came with 6 or 8 GB of RAM. This is 'active memory' - what is used to translate information into stored memory.
I also love this laptop because it is a Signature Edition. If you are not tech-savvy, then you need to buy a signature edition laptop. It comes with zero bloatware and it comes with an anti-virus program already installed that will not expire.
Honestly, this is a phenomenal laptop that converts into a tablet for your computing needs.
