Amazon Canada: BBC Life Blu-Ray $30 (Was $87.48)

We blog a lot about the Planet Earth series because it is a renown set of disks that has captured the hearts and imaginations of audiences everywhere. Yet, there are many other offerings by the BBC team and they have a great deal on another well celebrated title: Life. Originally $87.49, the BBC Life series in blu ray is on sale for just $29.99.

This is the original UK version which is voiced by the amazing David Attenborough. I'm totally bias when I say this is the best version because the American version has Oprah narrating and I think David's voice is far better.

This series is all about animals (and plants) and how they stay alive, evolve, migrate, copulate, and live. I own this series but have not had time to watch it yet because of university. I am seriously excited about my summer this year as I will get to sit down and catch up on beauties in my collection like this one.

Now it seems like everyone has put this series on sale this weekend but they are vastly running out of stock. I checked online at BestBuy and Futureshop, which each have less than 10 copies left. Those are going to be sold out awfully quick. I also checked the non blu-ray version at each of the places (which is not on sale) and it costs $60.99. That is pretty much the price you will usually pay for this series when it is not on sale. This deal is pretty hot, coming from someone who watches the BBC sets like a hawk, so pick it up while it is still in stock.
