This book is designed for children ages and up. The book contains the stories of 20 mythical creatures. Your child can copy the sketches of the creatures and scratch at the black coating on each page to reveal patterns, swirls, holographic colours and more. Draw your own animals and scratch away the black pages to reveal the secrets underneath.
This booklet has 60 pages. They are broken down into three different types of pages with 20 pages of each. There are 20 illustrated pages, 20 sketch pages, and 20 scratch-off pages. There is no 'trace-by-line' portion to this book (like others have been), so your child should feel comfortable drawing simple images by him or herself. If you are looking for a fantastic and unique Christmas gift, this is pretty awesome. It can be giving to kids and adults alike, though it is designed for children. Personally, I wouldn't mind receiving one of these books myself. My drawing skills actually royally suck, but there is no time like the present to improve them.
