The reason I am stating that you should buy now – this is in the current toy sale at Walmart, and in the past, we’ve seen such items go out of stock incredibly quickly. Jump on the deal now!
If you want to buy this online at Walmart Canada, shipping to your home wouldn’t be free if you buy this item alone. You’d have to spend $50 or more to get free home shipping. However, Walmart have the very handy click and collect option, where you can collect your parcel for free at a local Canada Post location. This is a very handy option for low-priced Walmart orders. If you’re paying for shipping, it would be an extra $4.97.
As for pricing elsewhere, I cannot find this exact set anywhere else online in Canada. There are other dolls in the “I Can Be” Barbie range, such as the Cheerleader model on Toys R Us Canada. It’s priced at $25. There are a few similar ones for $20 at Amazon.ca, but the Walmart price really knocks those out of the water.
This is an ideal item to buy now and think later. For me, it’s something that I would pop in my present cupboard for the many birthday parties that my 5 year old daughter will be invited to in the next year.
