There appears to be a bit of a battle between PayPal, MasterPass and Visa Checkout to gain your business this season and it's definitely benefiting the consumer.
You can save 15% off your total order at both Toys R Us and Babies R Us using promo code PP2015. The code seems to award the discount whether you're paying with PayPal or not, but I would be worried that they might reverse the discount if they realized you had used another payment method.
There are some exclusions: certain LEGO Building Sets, Video Game Hardware, Apple Items, Gift Cards, Pre-paid cards, diapers, food, formula, Thyme, Pre-Orders and Buyer Protection Plan.
Since there are no exclusions regarding already reduced merchandise, I tackled the deals first and had a moment of nostalgia.I remember playing with those rod hockey games for hours when I was young. I think my nephew would love this Pro Stars 2 Rod Hockey Game and it's already on sale for $36.97 from $49.99. I added it to my cart, used code PP2015 and the price dropped another $5.55 for a total of about 38% off!
I added this LEGO Star Wars Starfighterto my cart and was thrilled to see the code take $1.95 off of the original price of $12.99. LEGO is often tops on many kids' lists so if you're looking, give the code a try and you might get lucky!
Over on Babies R Us, I'm looking at this Summer Infant Deluxe SuperSeat that is regularly $59.99 on sale for $39.97. The code similarly gives me another $6 off for a savings of about 44%! This would be great for any new parents or someone expecting a New Year's baby. There's a pink version, too!
Toys R Us offers a shipping discount of $10 on most orders of $49 or more so you usually end up paying only a couple dollars for shipping if you meet the minimum.
