Schick Hydro Silk Razor & 2 Blades Only $5 @ Amazon.ca *HOT*

While I like blogging deals on toys, electronics, and more... I really like blogging deals on everyday essentials. For example, I found this Schick Hydro Silk Razor for Women, Includes 2 Razor Refills on sale from $13.49 down to $7.99. Amazon currently has a $3 off coupon you can apply on top of this sale price, bringing this razor with two refills down to just $4.99. Either get free shipping with Prime OR free shipping on orders of $25 or more.

Schick is the one mainstream brand of razor I have not tired yet, yet I am going to. Frankly, I am perfectly happy with my Venus razor but replacement blades are so expensive. A set of four blades runs $16 - $20 so a new razor with two blades for $5 is a pretty hot deal! The same razor costs $12.64 @ Walmart Canada.

The clipable coupon is halfway down under Special Offers and Product Promotions. There is a link called 'clip this coupon' and you need to clip it. Then, the discount will apply at checkout.

There is only one review on Amazon Canada - and it is not a positive one - but that is SUCH a small sample size. Look, on Amazon.com there are nearly 1000 reviews of the same product with an average 4.4/5 stars:

As you can see, a lot of people really like this razor. Instead of ordering more blades for my current Venus razor, I think that I will just switch over to Schick :) I like several features of their razor like the five blades (my current razors only have three) and the Water-Activated Moisturizing Serum. I have occasionally tried to dry shave and that is like a lesson in torture, so I only wet shave now.

The five blade razor heads are really cool. I enjoy s close shave and used to enjoy the battery-operated vibrating razors you could get. I haven't found one of those in ages sadly. With five blades, I expect to receive a closer shave than a three-blade razor.

I use my blades for a long time, so I am happy that their moisture strip will last up to two-hours of shaving. I spend about 10 minutes shaving, once per week, so each blade should last me three months.

I got this razor as a sample once and used it for a longer than expected period and it held up well. Definitely a good buy!
