The Source Canada: Turin Speaker iPhone/iPod Dock with Alarm Clock Radio $59.99 (reg. $99.99)

The Source Canada has some really awesome deals on lately.  This is one of the offers that caught my eye.  Get a Turin Speaker iPhone/iPod Dock with alarm clock radio for just $59.99 (regular price is $99.99).

Here are some of the features it has:

  • 20W output power/3.0" full range driver/4 ohms rated Impedance
  • FM Radio/10 preset memory stations
  • Full feature remote control
  • Universal docking with attachments for all latest iPhone/iPod models
  • iPod/iPhone charges whenever system is plugged in, even while playing

I went shopping for an item that was similar to this around Christmas time because I finally broke down and got an iPhone.  I wanted speakers that would play my music, charge my phone and have an alarm clock on it for my room.  Most sale prices I found were around $100 (and that was the good deals).  When I saw this one for just $59.99 I wish now that I had waited.

Here is an excerpt from a happy customer:

I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised by this unit, and I recommend it highly! First off, my unit is solidly built, and very hefty at that. no cosmetic flaws, it is solidly put together. Looks like a radio 4X it's price. Has many more features that I initially thought would NOT be included in a unit @ this price point: separate bass/treble controls, programmable snooze/sleep, display dimmer, highly adjustable alarm volume, battery back-up, four alarm types and a full-function remote control are all included. But how does it sound? I've only had it a week so I am still breaking it in, but I am also surprised by how good it sounds. The twin drivers are securely built, and are ported at the rear.

This customer was so happy that they wrote an entire page on why they liked this station.  I had to just take a portion of his praising for it otherwise this post would have been huge!  That tells me that this is probably a safe bet that it is a good quality product.
