Dell Canada: Buy a Dell, Get a Free Xbox - Student Offer

12 August 2012

Dell Canada is in the business of selling computers. Students are in the business of learning, and often use computer to assist them (or so they say). Dell Canada is offering students who purchase a computer valued at $699 or more a free Xbox.

A standard Xbox 360 4GB console runs $193.82 on (or $199.99 on Dell)... so for rounding purposes consider this a $200 freebie. Sweet!

You also have the option of spending over $750 on select PCs and getting up to $100 back instantly.

My advice is to get the Xbox, don't open the box and sell it if you need the money more! $100 back is nothing when you could probably sell a brand new, unopened, in box Xbox for more.

For this deal you will most likely need:

  • School Name (Example: University of Alberta)
  • Department (Example: Business)
  • Student ID (Example: 1694389)

If you have any trouble just talk with Dell Customer Support on their online chat.

Judi mentioned this promo briefly in her last Dell post, but I felt it needed some true consideration. This is a great opportunity for students and parents of students to get a new computer and either a new Xbox, or the opportunity to sell the Xbox for a little extra cash back.
