What makes the M Coat so special? It includes a zip-in or out shell that can be worn one way to fit a pregnant belly and another way to accommodate a baby in a carrier. You can remove the insert altogether to wear it as a regular coat. It is constructed with 100% Canadian down and is machine washable. I honestly don't know how I would do the bus run with a baby without this coat in my arsenal.
