Xbox Live is counting down to 2015 with a huge sale. Xbox 360 owners will be able to save up to 85% off select games for their Xbox 360 video game console.

There is quite a variety of Xbox 360 games available, with only four games that are for Xbox 360 Gold members only.

LEGO The Hobbit for Xbox 360 is on sale during this Xbox Live promo for only $9.89 which is 67% off their regular price. This game allows you to play through your favourite scenes of The Hobbit movies. You will follow the hobbit Bilbo Baggins throughout the game. There is also a free demo available here if you want to give this game a try before purchasing it.

To give you an idea of what this game sells for at other retailers, here is a little price comparison:

  • Lego The Hobbit for Xbox 360 $29.96 @ Walmart Canada
  • Lego The Hobbit for Xbox 360 $29.96 @

Metal Gear Solid fans, there is also Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes for the Xbox 360 for only $6.59. While Xbox Live states that this is 67% off their regular price, I actually found this game for sale at a much higher price at other retailers:

  • Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes for Xbox 360 $19.95 @
  • Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes for Xbox 360 $19.95 @ Best Buy Canada

Let's be frank, who isn't a fan of the Tomb Raider games? During this Xbox Live Countdown to New Years sale, you can get your hands on the Tomb Raider Game for Xbox 360 for only $6.59. This game will allow you to experience the story of Lara Croft. You will rely on your instincts to find all of the secrets of the island and to defend yourself against the residents.

  • Tomb Raider for Xbox 360 $19.96 @ Walmart (keep in mind that this is the Game of the Year Edition)

Even previously played, this game sells for $14.99 or $19.99 brand new @

Xbox Gold Members, you have a special treat! Titanfall (Deluxe Edition) for the Xbox 360 is on sale for $14.99. This has been claimed to be one of the most popular game titles for Xbox, and for a while there it was one of the only games worth playing (in my opinion) for the Xbox One. This game had steep prices in the beginning so seeing this game at 75% off is quite nice! This game also boasts excellent reviews and is created by the designers of Call of Duty. Chances are if you loved Call of Duty, you will love this game also. Comparisons:

  • Titanfall for Xbox 360 $39.96 @ Walmart Canada
  • Titanfall for Xbox 360 $39.99 @ Best Buy Canada

Each week there will be new offers available from Xbox Live, so try not to worry too much if you don't see anything here that catches your interest. All of these offers are live now, so you can get your shopping started. These are digital downloads so you also won't have to worry about any shipping fees adding onto your cart total.
