Steam Powered: Monster Summer Sale - Up to 80% Off

Steam Powered just started their monster games sale today with up to 80% off games. There are new games on sale every day with some sales lasting for 24 hours, some sales lasting for 12 hours, and some sales ongoing.

I do not know what games are popular right now, thus I headed down to the best sellers section to get a clue. The Metro Redux Bundle at 80% off seems like a steal. This bundle includes both Metro 2033 Redux and Metro: Last Light Redux. Originally $54.99, this bundle is now on sale for $10.99. You could purchase the games individual (as they are only on sale that way) but you pay less when you just buy them bundled together.

Next, try out the Homeworld Remastered Collection. This is a pretty intense space game with killer visuals. Build your fleet of awesome war ships and go on over 30 tactical missions. Originally $38.69, Homeworld Remastered is now on sale for $15.46. This game is addictive as this player says:

Without a doubt my favorite PC game ever. Homeworld games are works of art.
I still remember all the jobs I lost and exams I failed because of the multiplayer alone. Now I have a wife and a son. I am going to miss them

This massive Valve Complete Pack is part of the summer sale. The pack is loaded with 24 games to truly absorb all your time and make you forget that you actually have a life. The following games are included in this bundle: Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Portal 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Left 4 Dead, Portal, Team Fortress 2, Team Fortress Classic, Counter-Strike: Source, Counter-Strike, Counter-Strike: Condition Zero, Day of Defeat, Day of Defeat: Source, Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Deathmatch, Half-Life 2: Lost Coast, Half-Life 2: Episode One, Half-Life 2: Episode Two, Half-Life, Half-Life: Blue Shift, Half-Life: Opposing Force, Half-Life Deathmatch: Source, Half-Life: Source, Ricochet, Deathmatch Classic.

While some of the above deals are time limited, The Valve Complete Pack is on sale through the rest of the sale. Originally $109.99, pay just $27.49 for 24 awesome games. This is seriously a hot deal.

Some new games are included in the sale. Grand Theft Auto V & Great White Shark Cash Card is also a best seller. Originally $89.98, the game is now on sale for $67.48. This game is still a bit expensive in my books.

Individual deals have different expiry dates.

(Sale Expiry: 21st June 2015)

Since launch, Grand Theft Auto V (five) was much more affordable at Green Man Gaming, who often have a 20% off voucher on their home page IN ADDITION to the already lower price. Unfortunately, GMG charges in US dollars instead of CAD, so the conversion hurts somewhat, but for those who wanna experience one of the greatest games of all time without waiting years before it goes down in price, GMG is the best price I've found. Keep in mind that GTA V requires a 64 bit operating system, so ensure you're running on X64 before making the purchase.
