I thought that this was a neat concept, so I got myself a Curiosity Box for my kids. Each box has three themed crafts and one activity. If you are the mom who either can't bother with Pinterest or really has no time or desire to set up Pinterest-worthy crafts, this box is for you. While I love Pinterest and have a huge board full of craft ideas for the kids, they rarely come to fruition. Being that I work a full-time job, I don't have time to scout down the materials then sit and do the activity with them. Having something put together and ready to go is so much easier.
What I did realize with this box is that I should have got one for each of my kids! I decided to get one with my middle son's name on it since he rarely gets anything for himself being a middle child. He was super excited that a box had come for him. But, when he opened it his brothers pounced and they wanted to do it too. I thought with three crafts, maybe they could have one each, but that didn't work either. I think it would have been good for me to get a box for each.
I was very impressed with the quality of the materials inside and the kids did have fun once they stopped fighting, making the crafts.
This would make a fantastic birthday gift for a child as it keeps on giving. If you get the 12-month subscription, you can just renew on their next birthday.
