Forget the fancy dinner and night out dancing. I know what I want for my birthday this year! LUSH Canada just announced that you can host private parties at select stores across the country, and I am IN.
These parties are being called "the ultimate LUSH experience." After all, you get to be surrounded by mountains of bath bombs and test things out – after hours in a completely empty store. So if you have a bachelorette, graduation or just any big day coming up, I'd drop hints and see if you can get a party organized!
LUSH private parties are a brand-new experience, but here's what we can tell you so far. They offer two kinds of events: one geared to adults and one that's designed for kids. Either one costs $300 for two hours of exclusive time at the shop and tons of activities. You might also want to pad your party budget a little beyond that, though, since you know you're probably going to head home with ALL the bubble bars after this.
The Beauty School private party is a two-hour shopping experience that gives you complete access to LUSH staff. They'll guide you through personal consultations to figure out which products are best for your skin type and routine, and you can ask them all your questions. You'll learn about different ingredients and get to sample whatever goodies you want. Plus, they'll even teach you how to make a bath bomb!
For the kids, Lil' LUSH Fans private parties are two-hour whirlwinds where they get the chance to do everything from playing games to trying on face masks. They'll also learn how to create bath bombs, and you can guarantee they'll have a BLAST testing out all those lotions, sprays and shower gels.
No matter which party you book, know that the $300 price is based on a minimum of six guests. Each additional guest is an extra $50, up to a total of 12 guests. And yes, parents need to attend kids' parties. Full details for Beauty School and Lil' LUSH Fans parties are available here, so check those out before you book.
Private parties are only available at certain LUSH Canada locations, so we'd suggest calling your local store before you get too excited. But even if there isn't one near you, that's just an excuse for a road trip!
