Recall Warning: Janes Pub Style Chicken Nuggets

You're going to want to check your freezer, Janes Brand has issued a Class 1 recall on their Pub Style Chicken Nuggets due to possible Salmonella contamination.

Here's what you should be looking for:

  • Janes Pub Style - Chicken Nuggets - Breaded Chicken Cutlettes - Uncooked
  • Size - 800g
  • UPC 0 69299 12490 3
  • Best Before: 2019 DE 15

This product should not be consumed. If you do have these chicken nuggets they should be returned to the store they were purchased from or thrown out, even if they look or smell fine.

Food contaminated with Salmonella may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick with short-term symptoms such as fever, headache, vomiting, nausea, abdominal cramps and diarrhea. Long-term complications may include severe arthritis.

If you have eaten this product and are experiencing any of the above symptoms you should see your doctor.

Young children, pregnant women, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems are particularly vulnerable.

Illnesses due to this contamination have been reported and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is conducting a food safety investigation.
