Hey Netflix users - here's some news for you. Your typical weekend "Netflix and Chill" is about to cost you just a tiny bit more. For existing members, these price increases will happen soon. For new members, the increases are effective immediately.
Netflix has announced that their Canadian streaming service users will have their first price increase in about two years. They are doing this so that they can improve their content and services.
Here are the new plan rates for Netflix users:
- Basic Plan $8.99 (was $7.99)/month
- Standard Plan $10.99 (was $9.99)/month
- Premium Plan $13.99 (was $11.99)/month
