Bargainmooser Lisa has just emailed me about a new sale on Photobookcanada. They're offering 45% discount on your next order, with the promo code below!

  • Coupon Code: AUG45
  • Discount: 45% off
  • Expires: Ends 31st August 2010

Alternatively, there is another deal which might be better for you. They're offering buy 1 get 1 free on photobooks, if you enter your email address here. It's also in the form of a promo code, so you can only use one deal or the other. If you're buying from them, work out which gives you the best deal - if ordering multiple copies of the same book, the BOGO offer would definitely be better.

The site is new to me, it is the first time I've heard of Photobookcanada. They seem to be a well-structured, easy to use site, very similar to blurb.com who we have posted about in the past. From the slideshow on the Photobookcanada home page, the books look excellent - really good quality. I love how you can choose the materials and colours of the bindings too - from robin blue linen, to metallic copper buckram!

I had a look at the price list, and prices seem a little high because of the quality of the product - but when you take the 45% discount into account, that could make for some very good deals. For example, a large landscape (15" by 11") 40 page hardcover photo book would be $95, but only $52 with the discount.

Photobookcanada is based in Ontario, so wholly Canadian owned and operated. :) I've never used them, so I would love to hear from you if you do.

I have ordered from Photobook Canada before -- I chose them over other services like blurb because they are Canadian. I was also able to take advantage of a discount offer, so the price wasn't bad and I was very impressed with the quality. I wasn't sure how my full-page photos were going to turn out, but the result was beautiful. It took some time (maybe a few weeks) for the book to arrive, but it was well worth the wait.
