Home Depot Canada always has cool, free workshops - especially for the kids. Coming up this month, kids can head into Home Depot on Saturday, June 24th at 10 AM until noon to build a FREE Canada Day Tool Box with easy to follow, step-by-step instructions.
Things like this are amazing keepsakes, and the kids will have a blast getting out of the house to build it. Be prepared to hang onto it for your entire life though - when the kids make something like this, it becomes super sentimental.
I can see this one being perfect for storing my son's toy tools and more!
You may want to call ahead and see about reserving your spot. Sometimes we have been left disappointed by founding out the workshops are full when we arrive in the morning. Especially for the Kids' Free Workshops.
Children must be between the ages of 5 and 12 in order to participate.
