Canadian Freebies: 2 Issues Of The Walrus

14 July 2010

Walrus

If you would like 2 free issues of the Canadian magazine, "The Walrus," follow the link below and fill out your details.

You will get 2 free sample copies, and you can cancel the subscription once you get those, if you want.

Then, if you like the magazine, you can decide to continue on with your subscription at a cost of $23.80 for 10 issues, for the remainder of the year.

I honestly have never read this magazine at all! Here's a quote from their about us page.

The Walrus launched in September of 2003 with a straightforward mandate: to be a national general interest magazine about Canada and its place in the world. We are committed to publishing the best work by the best writers from Canada and elsewhere on a wide range of topics for readers who are curious about the world. The Walrus is published by a registered non-profit charitable foundation.

I decided to google for reviews to see what this magazine was like. Over on Amazon, A-Griffin-Hall says:

Great magazine with great writers- exceedingly interesting...and certainly not just for Canadians.

I am the walrus, koo-koo-kee-choo.
