You can find any ol' Darth Vader mask for a good price these days, but very few come with capability to change your voice to sound like Darth Vader. That is why this mask it a level above the regular masks you can get in this price range.  Not only does this change the sound of your own voice, but the sounds button activates Darth Vader breathing sounds and plays signature Darth Vader sayings as well.

It comes with adjustable straps and requires three AA batteries to run. This is a kid sized mask but can also work for adults with smaller heads. I tried on the Spiderman mask and a batman mask when I was in Toys R Us with a friend of mine, and though form fitting, both masks would have worked for me. If you are trying to save money on a fun costume, you cannot go wrong with a Darth Vader mask.

This also makes a great toy for all year around. A couple of the boys in my neighborhood have light sabers and I often see them playing a game that I have nicknamed 'light saber baseball jousting'. Except they do not use a baseball, instead they use a Foosball football I gave them. You could have team Darth and team Skywalker or whatever other team names you want to come up with. Of course, Darth is going to have to be a team captain.

For those of you up to date on Star Wars news, what do you think of the impending Star Wars: Episode VII scheduled for release in 2015? Personally, I think they should let sleeping dogs lay and whatever other sayings I can find for leaving things alone. I find sequels hard enough to endure, but a seventh film? Come on people. Personally, and do not kill me for this, I only like one of the movies anyway. The one where they rescue Princess Laia from the Death Star and she gives them major sass is awesome. What a woman!
