While browsing round on the Trade Secrets site, I noticed that they offer free shipping with no minimum spend, on any order, anywhere in Canada!

I’m not too sure how long they’ve been offering this service, if it’s been around for quite a while. But if I wasn’t aware of it, then I am sure there are a few Bargainmoosers who were in the same boat.

In addition to free shipping from Trade Secrets, you could save a few extra bucks by using one of these Trade Secrets coupons:

  • CouponCode: 50gets25
  • Discount: 25% off $50+
  • Expiry: 15th August 2014

That’s a very nice discount amount, on top of the totally free shipping.

There’s a little rotating banner at the top left of the site which shows some Macadamia Natural Oil freebies. It doesn’t actually state whether that deal is in-store or online, but I have a feeling that these are some freebies with your online order. Here is the info:

  • Spend $20 for the following: rejuvenating shampoo, moisturising rinse leave-in cream, curl cream
  • Spend $40 for the following: free samples mentioned above, deep repair masque (worth $4)
  • Spend $60 for the following: free samples, masque, heating oil treatment (worth $10.50)
  • Spend $80 for the following: free samples, masque, healing oil, no tangle brush, all worth $24.50

Now, don’t take my word for this and don’t blame me if you don’t get them! It’s a bonus if you do though. I can’t see any other reason why they’d be flashing away on their site if it wasn’t an online offer.

Have you ever heard of one of these devices – the Rusk Curl Freak Professional Curl Machine? Right now, you can save $110 on this, it’s down to only $189.95 with free shipping there. Now, you might think that’s very expensive… but you wouldn’t if you’d seen one of these in action.

I first saw one of these professional curlers when my sister was getting married. That morning, the hairdresser had one of these, albeit a different brand. You slot in a chunk of hair, it sucks it up in to the machine, it waits a few seconds then beeps, and out pops a beautiful curl! I couldn’t believe how easy it looked. A few weeks ago, my sister purchased a “cheap” one off eBay to see what it was like, and it was fairly good. When I first tried it though, I had it pointed the wrong way round and tried to pull off a bit of my sister’s scalp… about which she was none too pleased. Anyway, after a bit of practice, it started making really good looking curls in our long, dark hair. They’re great!
