Humour me for a second and think ahead to next January. Nobody wants to be stuck in the cold then – but you can do something about that now. WestJet just launched this year's Canada Day Sale, and you can already book flights to just about anyway at WAY less than what they'd usually cost!
Just think about that for a second. You can travel to just about anywhere you've always wanted to go in Canada, the US, Mexico, the Caribbean and Europe – and save on your ticket. This sale specifically applies to flights between now and early September, but there's just one catch. You have to book by Tuesday!
If you're looking to travel within Canada, you'll find deals for flights between Sept. 3 and Dec. 14, 2019, as well as between Jan. 6 and Feb. 12, 2020. Similar dates apply for other destinations, but they're all slightly different, so it's worth looking at them carefully. If you're travelling to the States, those deals started on June 26.
Some blackout dates do apply and mostly mean you won't be able to score discounted flights on or around major holidays, including Canadian Thanksgiving, Remembrance Day, Christmas Eve and New Year's Day. Remember that you have to book by July 2 at 11:59 PM MT to qualify for these deals.
