Turtle Beach Star Wars Gaming Headset Was $70 | Now $35 & Free Shipping @ Chapters Indigo

For all you gorgeous Star Wars fans out there, I have the perfect deal for you. This Turtle Beach Star Wars Wired Stereo Gaming Headset is on sale from $69.95 down to only $34.95 at Chapters Indigo Canada. You will receive free shipping on this headset as it costs over $25.

I had to price compare this headset primarily in the USA as it is hard to find in Canada. I found it for $59.95 USD + $20.90 USD shipping @ Amazon.com, $81.28 USD @ Newegg.com, $99.99 USD @ BestBuy.com, and finally in Canada I found it for $159.69 + $16.33 shipping in the Amazon Marketplace. There are many being resold for that price and higher.

This headset comes with two sets of face-plates: 1) the regular red/black Star Wars logo plates and 2) a set of Darth Vader plates. You can easily interchange the plates and even mix and match. You could have one logo and one Darth Vader on at the same time. For anyone who still cannot figure out left from right (me), this is a nice way to easily tell which side of your headset is which.

This headset is designed for mobile devices and PC gaming. The cord has in-line controls for volume and microphone mute. The mic is removable so you can turn this gaming headset into a regular headset if you want. I would do that with mine as I don't often play games that need a mic.

As for quality, expect middle of the road quality from this headset, which is pretty good considering the price! One reviewer on Newegg.com said:

Overall I would definitely recommend this set. I've gone through my share of headsets and this one is definitely the best sound quality. With that being said, however, I've never bought anything that I would consider "high end". If you are looking for something that gives good sound quality on a mid-range budget and like Star Wars, give these a shot.

This headset is a simple plug and play model that will take you from the box to your computer playing in a few seconds flat. While Turtle beach is a big brand in gaming headsets, I think the Star Wars brand associated with this set is the best-selling feature. Those swappable plates on the side of each earmuff are certainly my favourite part of the headset.
