This Friday, YOU set the prices at 7-Eleven. Yup, you read that right.
Officially, Sept, 14, 2018 is Name Your Price Day, and you can choose what you want to pay for a large Slurpee.
It's also known as NYPD (not to be confused with the New York City Police Department), and the day-long event is a fundraiser for WE Charity and WE Day events in Canada.
You get to name your price for a large Slurpee, and 100% of the proceeds goes to WE Charity. 7-Eleven just asks that you pay a minimum of 50¢ for your donation.
This event will happen at 7-Eleven stores across the country this Friday, so you might want to stop by the nearest one on your drive home from work. That way, you can kick off your weekend with a treat and help out a good cause at the same time.
