Shaw Canada: $36 Shaw Student Speed Bundle $36 (Value $84.90)

Shaw Canada: $36 Shaw Student Speed Bundle $36 (Value $84.90)

If you are a student in college or university - either full time or part time and have a student ID be sure to take advantage of Shaw's Student Speed Bundle.

What you get:

  • Shaw Extreme Internet with 25 Mbps download speed and 500 GB of data
  • Shaw Personal TV with 40 popular channels, 13 HD channels† and one Digital Box

Which is a value of $84.90 if you were to get it without being a student. Being a student you will only pay $36!

The deal is for 12 months, so after that you will probably have to talk to Shaw again if you are still a student. I signed up for this (being a full time university student) and it is being installed tomorrow. It is going to save myself and my hubby a TON on our internet/TV bill!

You can also add Home Phone Basic to the Shaw Student Speed Bundle for an additional $15/month to complete the package.

Fine print:

Offer subject to change and is only available to those with a valid student ID for the 2011/2012 calendar year. After 12 months, standard Shaw Plan Personalizer rates take effect for double play Personal TV and Extreme Internet packages at $84.90/month. Prices shown do not include tax. All Shaw Services are provided under the Shaw Joint Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy located at www.shaw.ca. Not all Shaw services are available in all regions. Channels and programming may vary by region. Equipment not purchased by you must be returned to Shaw if your Shaw Services are cancelled. You may not resell any Shaw Services. Other conditions may apply.

I figure if Shaw won't renew my Student Bundle next year I will just switch to Telus which also tends to have a student deal at the end of my 12 months. Then in a year after that switch back to Shaw. Good fun!

P.S. You don't have to be on campus (in rez.)  to take advantage of this deal.

Hey, I'm only taking 9 credits right now so I was wondering if that was sufficient? I need to somehow prove that I'm a full time student right?
