P&G Canada Freebie: Free Safety Latch Starter Kit

Got little troublemakers running around or are expecting some soon? Then you need to baby proof and what better way than to do it for free! P&G Canada is offering a free safety latch starter kit.

My little one is already beginning to crawl and just the other day, I caught her trying to open a drawer in the living room. It's not too bad while I can still monitor her but I'm worried for the day that she become 100% mobile and begins to crawl around the entire house... not to mention walk and run -- oh boy!

As such, we haven't needed to baby proof anything yet but this safety latch starter kit is certainly exciting and much needed for anyone with babies and kids alike. It comes with:

  • 2 cupboard handle locks
  • 2 cupboard latches

These also don't require any drilling or screws of any kind as you simply need to place it onto door handles and that's it. It's easy for adults to open but not so much for kids.

Once you have selected "Canada" as the country, you will need to enter basic information like your e-mail address, age range, name and address. A phone number isn't required for this freebie. Be prepared to wait ever so slightly because it may take up to 8 weeks for your freebie to arrive. This is particularly no biggie if you are expecting since you won't be needing it right away anyways and when it comes, it will be a nice surprise!

If your baby is already at the crawling/ running around everywhere stage and wreaking havoc on everything in sight, then I suggest that you get some at either Toys R Us and Amazon now and keep the free ones as a back-up for when they finally make it onto your doorstep or mailbox. In fact, there are plenty of latches guards and covers to choose from at Toys R Us and there is currently a "buy more, save more" event that you can take advantage of to save 15% off 1 item, 20% off 2 items or 30% off 3 items.

This freebie is only available "while supplies last", so hurry to get yours as soon as possible before it's too late. Also, only one kit is available per household, but you could fill out the form for friends and family members as a nice little treat!
