Back to School Sale: PCs, Upgrade Bundles & Parts (Save up to $175) Back to School Sale: PCs, Upgrade Bundles & Parts (Save up to $175)

Whether you need a new PC or just need the parts to make your current PC better, MemoryExpress has a deal for you!

The title of this sale is a little misleading. Their PCs aren't actually on sale but the prices are pretty good regardless so I thought I'd include them in my write-up. Here are a few of the upgrade bundles and parts deals:

I love these bundles. They didn't have them when I was putting together my machines (or if they did, I could never find them).  Back when I was a kid (I'm so old) you'd pick out a great processor then find an awesome mother board only to find out that they aren't compatible! You add RAM and cooling in there and you're liable to go back to a stone tablet and chisel.

Well, okay, maybe it wasn't that bad, but it wasn't fun. These bundles just make it so easy. Someone else has already done the painful work of pairing the parts. You get to do the fun stuff and pick out what you want.

And that is the fun part about building or upgrading a PC, isn't it? It's not so much the actual building (that is fun but it's over so quickly) but rather piecing it all together in your head. It's almost like a puzzle. You look at your budget and try to squeeze out every last ounce of power. Is it worth it to get a lesser processor for more RAM? Or, maybe you don't need that high-end motherboard if you can use the extra money for a better video card.

If you have never upgraded an old computer or built a new one this is a great chance to do so. There are a lot of awesome resources out there on how to build or upgrade a computer so make sure you do your Google research before you attempt any of this. You could hurt yourself or break your stuff. You've been warned but only because we here at Bargaimoose love you very, very much.
