Here's something to make that Monday grind a little easier. I swear, I've been counting down the days until $1 coffee is back at McDonald's, and TODAY is the day! From now until early March, you can get your caffeine fix for just a loonie ... and there are a couple of other treats to go along with it.
For starters, let me just say that the $1 price tag is before tax, so you'll need to have at least a dime on you as well, depending on where you live. The promotion runs from Feb. 10 until March 8, during which time you can score any size Premium Roast or a medium iced coffee for $1 or a medium latté for a twoonie plus tax.
As part of this February Event, McDonald's is also selling McMuffins for $3 each. Basically, that means you could pick up an entire breakfast (consisting of a coffee and a sandwich) for only $4 plus tax. Just remember that it all ends on March 8, so the clock is officially ticking. There's only about a month of $1 coffee left to go!
While you're at McDonald's, you might also want to check out the Spicy Habanero McChicken. It's back for a limited time, and this would easily be my dinner order if I was still eating gluten. It's the standard McChicken you already know and love, but with a spicy twist, courtesy of their creamy Habanero sauce.
