I think Kitchenaid are an excellent brand for kitchen appliances, one of the best in my opinion. As well as being great quality and functional, they also look great if you are leaving it out on your work surface! I'm particularly fond of the red models, but my budget doesn't quite stretch to owning a Kitchenaid mixer yet.
