I like this kind of sale because it's very open. They aren't trying to force you into buying a specific brand or model. A lot of people, photographers especially, it seems, are brand loyal so forcing them to a brand isn't good for the store or the customers. Even worse is when a store limits you to a certain few models. I understand why it is done but it's annoying regardless. The freedom that these types of deals allow is almost better than the savings.
