We've all heard of the Daily Deal sites like WagJag, Groupon and Tuango, right? But who would have thought that they would be your hero when it comes to last minute Christmas gifts. These sites are a fabulous way to grab last minute gifts. You can get vouchers or gift cards instantly to your email address, or sent right to your giftee's email address. I usually buy the e-voucher, print it and place it in my loved one's Christmas card. These daily deal websites are a great way to snag a quality and unique gift for your family and friends while scoring a great discount. You may even end up spoiling yourself if you browse long enough!
Spa Deals
Spa deals are definitely the way to go for any woman in your life. Each of these websites seem to have quite a variety of discounts on spa and beauty deals. Even with a quick browse I see deals like Spa Days with Wine down from $175 to $99. These offers will obviously vary depending on your location, but I could easily get most of my Christmas shopping done in this category alone.
Restaurant Deals
If you are looking for a gift for both Mom & Dad or perhaps for your in-laws, then a restaurant gift card addressed to the both of them might just be your perfect gift this year. Local to me, Groupon Canada has a deal for Gourmet Dinner in the Dark. Wouldn't that be a great way to send your parents out for a fun, romantic dinner? This was originally $96 for two people, but now it is just $55.
Home & Auto Deals
Wow. There are so many deals in these categories on each of the daily deal websites. You can get everything from discounts on house cleaning services to discounts on wine tumblers. WagJag.com seems to have the best selection, but I wouldn't classify all the available deals as "Home & Auto" per se. I would personally love a voucher to have my house cleaned from top to bottom. That to me would be better than a night out!
Shopping Deals
There is quite a variety of "shopping deals" from most of the daily deal websites. I noticed that some of the deals in this category are also in the "Home" categories. Sometimes you can get discounts on gift cards - for example, we have previously posted about a $30 The Body Shop gift card being available for just $15. Sometimes you can also find $5 Tim Cards for $3 or other great discounts like that.
