My cousin asked me to look for a high chair for her baby because she knows I love finding good deals. The problem is, her kitchen is really small with her rolling kitchen aisle it leaves little room for a traditional high chair.
I found this cleverly designed Chicco 360-Degree Rotating Table Seat that was designed in Italy. It hooks onto a table (no floor space required!) The seat rotates and locks into place and has 6 different locking positions so that your baby can view you in the kitchen cooking, wherever you are.
This chair is selling at Amazon.ca for $89.99 and includes free shipping. As a price point comparison, Hudson's Bay is currently selling this for $124.99 and Toys R Us have the price at $109.99 so the $89.99 price at Amazon.ca is pretty good!
The chair has a snap on serving tray to use at home or away. Of course, the fabric seat pad is washable and the tray is dishwasher-safe to make clean up easy.
Portability is a feature of this chair and it includes a bag to store it in. I would have loved to have taken this along on summer holidays when the kids were small, so our babies could sit at the table with us. It can safely hold up to 37 pounds.
For the perfect fit the table or counter has to be at least 12 inches deep (or 14 inches deep for a round table.) The top grippers must be completely on the table top. Rubber grips help to clamp the seat to the table securely. The seat can be used with table skirts up to 5.5" thick and the yellow highlighted buttons are easy to use for any adjustments.
Reviews on Amazon.ca indicate that the chair is very sturdy (and it would have to be, since it's supporting a precious baby!)
