Beyond The Rack: Melissa & Doug Huge Sale

18 January 2013

Beyond the Rack is having a great sale on Melissa and Doug toys and puzzles.

I absolutely love Melissa and Doug, so I can easily say I have about half of the toys from this sale. This makes me the expert on M&D toys, and I'll tell you about our favourite ones. There are almost too many to list so I'll be brief.

  • Band in a Box was the first Melissa and Doug item we had gifted to us and seven years later it is still in great shape with almost daily play, now only $19.99, regularly $35.
  • Wooden cutting food is played with often and is great for fostering fine motor, plus there is something about food that kids love to play with, now only $15.99, regularly $30.
  • Alphabet train puzzle is the most picked puzzle on our shelf. It is fun and teaches letters along with the logical skills needed to do puzzles, now only $9.99, regularly $20.
  • Alphabet nesting and stacking blocks were a surprise hit in our house and although they do suffer some wear and tear over the years, ours are well-played with, now only $9.99, regularly $20.
  • Wooden pizza - what kid doesn't love pizza? This pizza teaches numerical and measurement skills, along with fine motor, and is still a daily favourite in my house, now only $15.99, regularly $30.
  • Slice and scoop sundae set is probably the most played with toy in the entire house, especially by children who have never been here, now only $22.99, regularly $40.

Shipping is $11.95, but shop all weekend and take advantage of the free shipping on subsequent purchases.
