Town Shoes: Original Tall Two Tone Hunter Boots $98.98 (Was $165) - HOT-

26 September 2014

I found another stellar deal on Hunter boots I just have to share with you. Instead of a deal on the short wellies, I found these beautiful Original Tall Two Tone Hunter Boots. At Town Shoes Canada, the boots are on sale from $165 down to $98.98.

Limited quantities are available and I expect these to sell out quickly. As an added bonus, all orders of $70 or more receive free shipping from Town Shoes, so your Hunter rain boots will ship free as well.

These boots are a matte black on the bottom portion and a stunning golden orange on the top. They are very much a fall boot and the orange reminds me of the leaves of a maple tree when it turns colour in the autumn. Town Shoes tells us exactly how many pairs of these boots are still available online - per size - so I can tell you this deal will not last long. Here is the rundown:

  • Size 7: 3 in stock
  • Size 8: 5 in stock
  • Size 9: 4 in stock
  • Size 10: 8 in stock

I wear a size 7 in Hunter Wellies, as they are wide enough to accommodate my wider foot. I can still fit the fleece sock in my wellies as well - they are such a good fit. If only I could fit my calf in these taller boots, I would have bought them the second I saw this deal. I love the colour combination and this price is AWESOME!

One always needs to price compare when buying anything.  However, none of the other Canadian retailers that carry Hunter boots are selling the two-toned versions. The closest I can come for a comparison is to compare other tall boots.

The cheapest Tall Hunter boots at The Hudson's Bay are $123.75 for a pair of blue gloss on clearance. Little Burgundy's cheapest pair is $160 for the Hunter matte black. Softmoc Canada has a few pairs of the tall glosses on sale for $119.99. Either way, Town Shoes beats all three of these retailers by a good $20 (and free shipping) with a better-looking boot.

Hunter boots will last you your entire life if you take good care of them. That is a $100 investment for 20+ years of wear. You will probably get bored of them before they ever have a problem. Seriously, pick up a pair because this is an amazing deal.
